After the first no
'Appeal denied' feels final. Under TikTok's own Enforcement Policy it is not — but the second door is narrower, faster, and it is the last one. Here is exactly what the policy says, in order.
You are limited to 2 appeals per violation, and all decisions after the second are final. If your first appeal is rejected, the second must be filed within 15 days of the rejection. Appeals raised after the timelines are not reviewed at all.
The second appeal is not a re-send. TikTok decided the first file was insufficient; the second must add what was missing — the document, the record, the screenshot that answers the reason given. If nothing new exists, the realistic routes are the ones below, not a repeat.
Denials arrive as labels, but the label tells you the theory: misidentification, missing authorization, unmatched documents, a metric record TikTok believes is accurate. Your second appeal answers THAT theory with evidence — for metric violations, only on the published grounds (duplicate enforcement, TikTok's own miscategorization, a carrier/logistics error with proof, a disruption outside your control, a platform system error). 'I was busy' and 'my supplier was slow' are not appealable theories under any metric.
Quiz: if a policy quiz is tagged to the violation, passing it earns points back regardless of the appeal outcome. Correction: some violations can still be corrected — but correction windows run 12–72 hours from notification, so by appeal-denial time they have usually closed. Prevention: the same violation landing twice costs more — severity and frequency drive deductions — so the operational fix is urgent even while the paperwork continues.
That is past this page's territory. A deactivated shop with money held is a fund-recovery problem — TikTok may withhold funds for 45, 90 or 365 days after a closure. Do not open a replacement shop: connected accounts share enforcement. The closure guidance on this site is free, and it points to where held-money cases are handled.
The policy caps appeals at 2 per violation and calls the second decision final. Support chat cannot reopen a decided appeal; sellers who tell you otherwise are selling hope, not a route.
TikTok does not publish a decision timeframe for seller violation appeals. Plan around the clocks you control: the 15-day filing window runs whether or not the answer has come back on anything else.
The checker above is free and always will be. The kit is the depth: the letters, the plan, and the sheets, in one place, stamped with the rules as checked October 22, 2026.
