Fulfillment and after-sale — TikTok's category
A late-dispatch violation means TikTok's record shows an order that was not scanned by the carrier within 2 business days of Awaiting Shipment. The trap most new shops fall into: printing the label feels like shipping. TikTok does not count the label. It counts the carrier's first scan.
Late dispatch feeds your Late Dispatch Rate (LDR). TikTok recommends keeping LDR at or under 4%, and says enforcement may apply when it passes 10%. On a small shop the maths is brutal — at 10 orders, a single late order is already 10%.
The first fix: Fix the dispatch routine first: the label does not count — the carrier's first scan does, within 2 business days of Awaiting Shipment.
Correctable: yes — check the deadline printed on your ticket first; correction windows run 12–72 hours.
A policy quiz attaches to this violation type — passing it earns points back and is usually the fastest fix.
Appeals are decided on published grounds, not on effort. For this type, the grounds that match TikTok's policies are:
Not a ground: Being busy, a slow supplier, or printing the label on time — a label is not a dispatch. TikTok counts the carrier scan.
First appeal within 30 days of notification. If it is rejected, a second — final — appeal within 15 days of the rejection. Two appeals per violation, total. If your ticket shows a short deadline (12–72 hours), that clock runs first and fastest. Points from this violation reset 180 days after they landed. The full clock map.
Not sure how close this leaves you? Run the danger check with your score and this violation — it returns your distance to the next restriction and your fixes in order.
