Why last year's advice keeps failing
TikTok Shop's US rulebook turned over three times in 2026. If the advice you are following predates these changes, it is not just stale — in the first case, it is backwards.
The 48-point Violation Points system was replaced by the Account Health Rating (0–1,000, start 200) for US sellers, after a preview period from April to June 2026. Direction reversed: higher is now healthier. Most third-party content still teaches the dead system — including, in some cases, agencies charging for help.
US sellers lost the self-shipping option: phased enforcement began February 25, 2026 and Seller Shipping was fully discontinued March 31, 2026. New sellers onboarding after February 9, 2026 must use TikTok logistics (FBT, Upgraded TikTok Shipping, or Collections by TikTok) from day one. Which path an order uses now decides which metrics can even apply to it — fulfillment choice is a compliance choice.
TikTok's PDP compliance rules require a Yes/No declaration on every listing for California Proposition 65 and CPSC choking-hazard warnings. Skip the declarations and the listing risks removal — a paperwork violation that has nothing to do with the product itself.
Roughly one structural change per quarter. That is why every rule on this site carries a 'checked on' date, and why a one-time answer ages: build the weekly Shop Health habit, and re-check the rules after any TikTok announcement, not after your next violation.
In Seller Center's policy update feed and the policy pages themselves — which is why the pages' dates matter. This site's dataset re-checks the AHR, Enforcement, Fulfillment and Probation pages quarterly and after major announcements.
The checker above is free and always will be. The kit is the depth: the letters, the plan, and the sheets, in one place, stamped with the rules as checked October 22, 2026.
